Solar powered water heater Vacuum Tube Technology has a very optimal Solar Energy Absorption Rate, because Vacuum Tube Technology can absorb Solar Energy from any angle to all sides of the tube surface without being reflected out, so that each Vacuum Tube works very effectively and efficiently not only during middle time day, but every day of the year. Another advantage of the vacuum tube is that it can insulate the heat contained in the inner tube with a heat dissipation rate of <4% heat loss.
The BABYSUN solar powered water heater system of vacuum tubes works based on the phenomenon of 'Thermosyphon', which is natural convection that circulates hot water in vacuum tubes into the hot water storage tank above it (Hot water on a certain slope will move up while cold water will move down) , without using any pump or motor. Cold water goes down to the bottom of the vacuum tube where the water is heated by solar energy, the water will rise to the top of the hot water storage tank when it reaches a certain hot temperature and is ready for use.
Someday in the future All solar powered water heater will use Vacuum Tube Technology.
